Pick EvenOut when you want search, charts, custom categories and repeating expenses without a subscription, when you create many groups, or when you want no ads on any plan. If your expenses arrive as UPI or bank alerts in India, or you need a PDF export or free receipt scans (3 a month on Splitkaro's Free plan), those are outside what EvenOut does.

### Does Splitkaro have a trial period?

No. Splitkaro says the Free plan is the trial, and its Premium FAQ says there is no time-limited trial. The exception is referral: referring 3 friends with your referral code gets you Premium. Without that, you can use the Free plan for as long as you like, including its 3 receipt scans a month.

### What happens to my groups if I cancel Splitkaro Premium?

You keep Premium until the end of the billing cycle and then move back to the free plan. Groups, expenses and history remain. You lose Premium features such as analytics, search and advanced reminders.

### Do EvenOut receipt scans work like Splitkaro's 3 free scans?
